YOUTH STEM & INNOVATION CENTRE

On May 12, 20 Upper and Senior School students travelled to the annual Youth STEM & Innovation Conference at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. The group attended talks on astrophysics, data engineering, biomedical engineering, bitcoin mining, medicine and software development.

Three groups of students also competed in the Innovation Challenge with the prompt: create a product or service that makes the education system better and more accessible for people around the world.

Congratulations to Upper One student Ved Hardas and Upper Two students Spencer Guerreiro Marsden, Ali Shaikh and Oliver Shorey for their finalist presentations on AI-powered education solutions.
